These weld in NPT threaded bungs are made of solid mild steel round stock and drilled and threaded to your specified NPT thread. Bungs come in a few differant length, and diameter options depending on thread size. The .200" step is machined into the bung to make it easy to keep all of the bungs are set at the same standoff height. The larger diameter of the flange allows for more weld surface for greater strength. These bungs work great for those making their own fluid containers, gas tanks, oil tanks and many others.
