Slip Joint 3/8" Hole Tab

This is a 1/4" thick mounting tab to hold up to those harsh applications. It is made of 1/4" thick mild steel to reduce bending or distorting under load like the stamped steel ones that are made of 1/8" or thinner that are on the market. We use these mostly for keeping a exhaust slip or similar type of tube joint from coming apart where a band clamp will not hold up. You weld one tab to each piece you are joining and add a bolt through the hole and as long as the bolt is in place the two parts can't separate. The hole is meant to accept a 3/8" through bolt.
